#2 – HAVE YOUR WHY ESTABLISHED

This is your single most important driving force as to WHY you decided to be a Network Marketer.  This could be anything, your family, financial freedom, time freedom or if you’re like me you just really want to help change EVERYONE’S life for the better.  Whatever your WHY is, make sure that you are passionate about it, that you won’t stop until you’re WHY happens.   I suggest writing it down or putting a picture close to where you spend most of your time for those days when there are speed bumps and set-backs.  Let me tell you now, that is absolutely going to happen, it’s going to happen a lot.

If you’re why is not strong enough it is proven that you will not succeed, that you will give up.  You must have a very strong drive to succeed!

#3  NETWORK MARKETERS DO NOT BOTHER FAMILY & FRIENDS

In my experience most network marketing companies have you write a list of everyone you know.  Family, friends and they even have a memory jogger of some kind to make sure you don’t forget anyone.  This list of people is known as your warm market, they usually say to present your new home-business to them first.

You don’t want to make future engagements with your friends and family awkward.  I recommend leaving them alone at least until you have learned some network marketing essentials and really know your business.  You will know if any of your family or friends are your “target audience” and if they are then you will know how to approach them.

To make it clear, DO NOT EVER chase, beg, guilt or even attempt to convince anyone, especially your warm market to join your opportunity. When you decide the time is right and your approach is warranted, it is suggested by the network marketing pros to see if your family or friends are open to your home-based, small business opportunity.

The network marketing professional will never chase their family members or friends attempting to convince them that this is the best opportunity to cross their paths since the invention of the wheel.

Don’t overwhelm yourself with trying to accomplish too many marketing projects at one time. Like any network marketing business, there is a learning curve to overcome, so be patient and hang in there. We all know someone we like and trust.  If that person came to us excited about some weight loss shake they started selling you would probably give it a go if  losing weight was something you wanted to do.  Now, if a stranger online came to you without building any type of relationship with you with the same product you wouldn’t be so quick to jump.  This is because there is no trust, that person doesn’t know you.  You’re far better of making friends with as many people as you can.  Hence “Network” in Network Marketing.  Everyday be on a mission to gain someone’s trust.  Lend them some of your light!  The point, provide value based content that people can relate too.  Providing this material will create a spell binding magnetism that will cause your audience to crave more.  Your followers like your style and how your value has helped them.  This also builds trust and in turn your readers will think your the authority in your field.  They look up to you.  We as Network Marketers love to “over-deliver”!  If you are familiar with ” Attraction Marketing” you will know its based on value, to over-deliver, past expectations ALL the time.
